Group Leader - Theresa Hancock
Walks are between four and five miles long, covered at a leisurely pace and usually finish by 12.30pm. The routes take in such places as East Dean, Birling Gap, the Downs, Pevensey, Abbot’s Wood, Arlington, Friston Forest and Seaford Head. The terrain can vary from flat to undulating to hilly, through woods, fields, tracks and trails, and may include some stiles.
There is no restriction on numbers and members should come suitably dressed for the prevailing weather conditions. You should bring your own refreshments, if required, for the 15-20 minute break at the halfway point. Depending on the route, refreshments may also be available from a local café.
Details of the upcoming walks can be found in the 'Forthcoming Events' below or in the Windmill magazine
