The Eastbourne & Wealden u3a started in 1999 and is part of a UK-wide collection of over 1000 u3as that provide the opportunity for those no longer in work to come together and learn for fun.

The u3a movement has been learning, staying active and having fun for 40 years - showcasing what it means to have a positive later life.
We have OVER 20 INTEREST GROUPS, some academic such as languages, others cultural such as music, literature and day trippers, and others just for fun and exercise such as board games, tenpin and walking. Click Groups for details.
We also hold MONTHLY MEETINGS open to all members, when we have professional speakers on a wide range of interesting topics. These are at the Victoria Baptist Church Hall, Eldon Road, Eastbourne on the first Tuesday of the month (except August) at 14.00.

NEW MEMBERS ARE VERY WELCOME. Why not come along to a monthly meeting as our guest before joining. Also, some Group Leaders will allow you to attend a taster session before joining.
