Meeting at the Carpark behind the Youth Hostel near the Southease railway station we will walk over the river Ouse bridge to Southease where we cross the Piddinghoe Rd and climb up to join the South Downs Way and turn left. Just beyond South farm we turn left again and climb up to join Gotham's Lane which takes us down to Telescombe where we can stop for refreshments in St Laurence Churchyard. From there we continue along a track and down to meet The Lookout lane before again crossing the Piddinghoe road to walk alongside the river back to the bridge and Southease station.
