Rummikub is a tile-based game for 2–4 players that combines elements of rummy and mahjong. The name itself is a blend of "rummy," referring to the card game that inspired its rules, and "cube" (or "kub"), highlighting the tile format of the game rather than cards. 

This combination emphasizes both the gameplay style—forming sets and runs like in rummy—and the physical component, which is a set of numbered tiles arranged on racks.

Please note, the November meeting will be held on the 12th November due to a prior booking of the room on 5th November. The next meeting reverts to the first Thursday, so 3rd December.
