The plan is to meet at the 99, bus stop, just up from Banker’s corner, in Cornfield Road, Eastbourne town centre, catching the 10:20 bus.  The journey is about an hour. 

We will alight the bus at St. Leonards and walk along the seafront towards Hastings Pier, through ‘Bottle Alley’. The bus is usually a double decker bus with seating upstairs and downstairs, but sometimes a single decker.

The Stroll is approximately 1 mile and along a flat surface.  We cross the road at a pedestrian crossing.  The plan is to stop for lunch at the White Rock Hotel, who have a pleasant, reasonably priced, lunch time menu and of course coffee and tea.  There are a few steps up to the Hotel.

We will be able to catch the 99 bus back to Eastbourne.  The stop is opposite the White Rock Hotel. Those that live near the Marina will be able to catch the 99 bus enroute but please let me know.
