Group Leader - Karen Newing

Welcome to our Breakfast Club. We are a very sociable group that like to kick start the first Sunday of each month in fun company, with good conversation and great food. We try and choose a café or restaurant that suits most members breakfast tastes from a full English to smashed avocado on toast to pancakes and pastries. We try out a different venue each month, but we have been back to some of our favourite venues several times.

If members come across a great venue themselves, we encourage them to share that with the group. We have mainly stayed local to Eastbourne, but in the warmer and sunnier months we do venture a little out of town. 

If you don't have access to your own or public transport when we venture out of Eastbourne, we will try to arrange car sharing with other members, but we cant guarantee it.

In February 2026 fourteen members enjoyed delicious breakfasts at Skylark in Grove Road, Eastbourne.
